Danny Nevill is a keen investor and invests mostly in businesses he understands.
Danny believes in working hard, saving, and investing a fairly large proportion of your income into revenue generating asset classes.
Danny does also invest in tradeable asset classes both offline and online in addition to capital appreciating assets, however, his favourite classes include property and businesses and both tend to deliver capital appreciation as well as income in rewarding forms.
Based upon Danny’s experience, there is little to no investment that will ever be as rewarding as a business, which could deliver returns of 10, 20, 30 percent or more each year, however, a business typically requires a fair amount of time until you have lots of staff and or systems as well as management structures and or processes in place. Even then, most business owners are time-poor.
Business is not simple.
You have to master and perfect every aspect of the business for it to run free-reign, which is very hard to do and Danny applauds anyone who achieves such success.
Furthermore, a business often provides you with the opportunity to trade your time, knowledge, expertise and contacts for money. Subsequently, even without much money to your name, you can generate more.
Once you have money, it’s a question of what to do with it, and the list of opportunities is endless.
The more money you have liquidly available, the more opportunities you have.
Making your money work for you, is the next all-important step.
It is important to continue your revenue-generating activities whilst also investing at the same time.
This is where lower-level investment opportunities should be used, to help you build up and have investment foundations in place before you take on larger investments.
Danny agrees with the investment diversification strategies that most investors boast and Danny suggests to never invest more than you can afford to lose.
